What Should I Expect During the Spray Tan?

Clients often want to know how long a spray tan will take and what to expect. Clear timelines help manage expectations and reduce anxiety about the session.

• Time

The actual spray tan usually takes around 15 minutes. From the time I arrive, set up, go through the consultation, do the actual spray tan, break down the equipment and leave, that usually takes anywhere between 30 - 45 minutes from start to finish.

• What's important to know about spray tanning

The most important parts is to know how to prep for the spray tan and what to do after the spray tan for the best results. To prep, we send you a detailed email with instructions. For after the spray tan, we walk you through how to take care of the tan properly for longevity and best results. Make sure the day of your appointment, your plans while the spray tan marinates is important. You want to be sure that you wont be sweating while the tan marinates.

• Will I be orange?

Spray tanning has come along way over the last 40 years. There are many solutions and different colors and development times now. When we think of someone being orange from a spray tan, they simply left the wrong color solution on too long for their skin tone.

• Will I be splotchy or streak?

Splotchy and spray tan streaks come from two main issues: 1.) Washing your body with a wash cloth or loofa after having a spray tan and 2.) Not exfoliating properly before the spray tan. When you exfoliate to prep your skin for a spray tan, you want to use a clean wash cloth at the very end of your shower. This wil ensure that any oil residue from skin care products or hair conditioner is removed from your skin. DO NOT use a sugar or oil exfoliant scrub. They are known to cause streaking.

Tip: Make sure if you are doing any other beauty treatments, do those before your spray tan session. Nails and waxing should be done the day before your session. Spray tanning should be done last.

How Will You Communicate With Me?

Communication is key to a successful session. Clients want to know how often and through which channels they will receive updates.

• Preferred Channels

Email is common for formal updates. All booking information and prep instructions will be sent via email.

• Appointment Reminder

An appointment reminder will be sent via text message, reminding you of your upcoming session.

• Check In

You will be contacted via text to make sure everything came out well the next day.

What Are the Costs of a Mobile Spray Tan?

Budget questions are among the most important for clients. Transparency about costs and travel fees prevents misunderstandings.

• Mobile Service

Bronzed Bliss Tans is a mobile service that serves all areas within a 10 mile radius of 77571 for a flat rate of $75. If your location is outside of the 10 mile radius, a $10 travel fee per 10 miles will be included for the final payment. Most common cities that Bronzed Bliss Tan services are: Kemah, Seabrook, League City, Webster, Friendswood, La Porte, Deer Park and Pasadena.

• Down Payment

When booking your appointment, a $20 down payment is mandatory for securing your slot. That will be deducted from your final payment that is made in person after your session is completed.

• Weekend Charges

Weekend appointments with Bronzed Bliss Tans are available as well for an upcharge. All weekend spray tans are $120 .

How Do You Handle Changes or Revisions?

Clients want to know how flexible the process is and what happens if they want to make changes.

• Changing Appointment Times or Dates

Most appointment times and dates can be changed if you see on the website that your new requested time or date is still available for booking. Reach out via email or text and Kayla can change that appointment for you.

• Additional Changes

You can also manage some of your appointments if you become a site member on the website.

• Refunds

Refunds for your booking deposits will be honored as long as you request the cancellation of the appointment 24 hours in advance of the appointment.

How Do You Ensure Quality?

• Touch Up Solution

Every spray tanning session ends with Kayla giving you some touch up solution of their specific solution. She will also go over how to use the touch up solution, in case an accident happens after the spray tan, which ensures that your spray tan will still come out flawlessly.

The following day after the spray tanning session, Kayla will reach out to each individual client to see how their spray tans turned out and if they are needing help or guidance on correcting any issues.
